A bird flu (avian flu) outbreak has occurred at a chicken farm in Sihala, near Islamabad, say Pakistani authorities. Laboratory tests have confirmed the presence of the virulent H5N1 strain. Health officials say they have destroyed 3,600 chickens at the farm. So far, no human cases of infection have been reported in or near the infected area... click link for more info.
